To propose a course for Writing-Intensive (W) course designation:

1. Consult the Writing-Intensive Course Definition and Guidelines.

2. Courses should be submitted at least one semester in advance of proposed offering.

3. Save a copy of the Request for Writing-Intensive Course Designation form and enter the course information according to the directions on the form.

4. Complete the APAC Signature/Checklist to begin the process through the Proposal Tracking System (see http://web.mnstate.edu/academicaffairs/APACFY11Proposals.cfm for detailed information).
