The Red River Psychology ConferenceStarted in 1986 as a forum for undergraduate psychology majors from the tri-college community to present their research. It is hosted alternately by each of the three colleges and brings in students from across the region. There is also a keynote speaker each year. South Dakota State University American Indian History and Culture ConferenceFebruary 18-19, 1999
Opportunity for students to present their papers that are generally related to American Indian history and culture. In other words, it can be any contemporary issue as long as it has its roots in Native American history or culture. The committee is attempting to broaden the conference to include other tribal groups in addition to the Sioux. Therefore, papers dealing with history and culture of other native groups are particularly encouraged.
