Just a short note to congratulate you on the organization of the Student Academic Conference. My schedule allowed me to only attend the luncheon - and I was very favorably impressed with the keynote and especially the student responses. It renewed my optimism in our students and all that they are capable of (I know I shouldn't end in a preposition!)! I teach mainly freshman, and unfortunately don't always have the commitment and enthusiasm demonstrated yesterday. I came away recharged and committed to working harder with those students who are dedicated to their education.


PS - I observed that the luncheon addresses were videotaped - could they be shown during Dragon Days, Freshman Orientation, Transfer Orientation, First Year Experience Classes?? Don't just store them away in some archives!!
