2/16/2002 There has been a problem with the on-line registration system, it wasn't adding student presenter names. It is fixed now for future submissions. However, if you submitted an application and there are problems with it please e-mail acconf@mnstate.edu with your presentation title and the number assigned to your title with any changes or additions to your application. Click the link to view submitted Abstracts to find your title.
2/14/2002 The deadline for presentation applications has been extended to Friday, February 22, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. Use the On-Line presentation application to apply. You can see applications that have already been submitted by clicking View the Abstracts
.1/25/2002 The On-Line presentation application is now up and running. Please utilize this method to register yourself for the conference. It is highly recommended you download (Microsoft Word application) or pick up a paper copy of the application from the conference posters and have all the information filled out before submitting your information so all information is accurate and complete. The information that is submitted on-line is how it will appear on the conference web page and in the conference program.
1/12/2002 The Presentation Application is now available to download in Microsoft Word format. By the end of January there will be an on-line submission form to submit your application instead of mailing the application in and having to include a disk. We would prefer that you submit your information on-line as it will immediately be posted to the web for you to review and it saves conference staff time by not having to input all of the information. But you may wish to download and print the application to prepare it in advance before submitting it on-line.
Soon, there will be posters out around campus, primarily at each department office with copies of the application hanging from them. If you have any questions, e-mail acconf@mnstate.edu

Any faculty or staff member can nominate a former student who would address a general topic of any of the following areas: Importance of Undergraduate Research/Scholarly Activity, Pursuit of Knowledge rather than Pursuit of a Degree, Importance of Liberal Arts Background, Cross Discipline Research, or Sharing Knowledge Across Disciplines. To nominate: Submit the name, educational background, involvement while at MSUM, professional achievements, current status, and why you feel he or she would be a good candidate for the keynote speaker. Nominations can be sent to acconf@mnstate.edu Nominations are due by Tuesday, October 23.
Recognize a Current MSUM Student: In addition to the keynote speaker, there has always been four students selected to respond to the keynote address. These students represent each of the four academic divisions (1 per academic division). The academic deans have always initiated some form of nomination process within their division to select the representative for the division. Please assist your dean in this process by submitting names of students you feel would represent the division well in this regard. The deans have been requested to select their representative by Tuesday, October 23.
