Once there, you can either apply on-line or print out the application and mail it to our admissions department.

STEP 2: Talk to an Adviser?

STEP 3: Register for Classes

You can register for classes through Eservices at http://web.mnstate.edu/home/NEWREG.HTM.

STEP 4: Financial Aid

Students planning to complete a four year degree from MSUM on the NHCC campus will be enrolling in courses from both institutions at that same time beginning their sophomore year.  The way the process works is:

  • During your freshman year, students should apply for admission to NHCC and complete all financial aid arrangements through the Financial Aid Office on that campus.
  • When preparing and applying for financial aid for their sophomore year, students should apply for admissions and complete forms through the Financial Aid Office at MSUM.  This will allow students to easily receive financial aid for both their NHCC and MSUM courses.
  • Beginning in the sophomore year this will make your institution of residence MSUM for financial aid purposes.  This does not require you to attend courses on the MSUM campus in Moorhead; it is only to facilitate financial aid.
