Student Expectatons
- Be on time and attend every session
- Each student is expected to work within her or his group as an fair share member.
- Each student is expected to be respectful and responsible in interacting with their faculty mentor and with their peers.
- Each student is expected to take the initiative in learning theory, topics and techniques in both the research and teaching blocks.
- Each student is expected to clean up after themselves and be a good laboratory citizen.


We will meet in the classroom each Monday before working with your research team.
Time Expectations - In general, each student should plan on spending 2 hrs of out of class time for each hour of class time. 
This is a typical expectation by the University. 
As a result, each student should anticipate investing 15 – 20 hrs each week outside of class. 
This time includes homework, writing presentations, reading papers laboratory work fr your teaching blocks and laboratory time to work on your research.

Undergraduate Research in the Molecular Science  (URMS) an ASBMB & ACS sponsored Meeting 
Oct 28-29 2011 at MSUM this year!

Twin Cities Campus students will work with Dr. Melchior to find a suitable replacement if they are not able to attend.

  - Students will present their project plans at this meeting. 
- Make arraingments to be present Friday afternoon and Saturday morning - 1:00 pm.  Attendance is required.
