Important Payment Information for Spring 2012
- December 13, 2011 is the financial commitment date by which students must have taken payment action to maintain course registration. The financial commitment date is 15 business days before the start of spring semester 2012 (classes begin Jan. 9, 2012).
Complete one of the following by December 13, 2011:
- Make a minimum payment of $300 down toward
tuition and fees.
- Release financial information by filing the Free
Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and
select MSU Moorhead from the drop-down menu.
- Contract an approved payment plan with Nelnet
Business Solutions (NBS) to pay your bill in monthly
installments. Sign up by going to web.mnstate.edu,
click on eServices, log in and select Bills and
Payment.
- Provide a Third party authorization to MSU
Moorhead Business Office (DVR, Military Assistance,
Employer assistance, Employee Tuition Waiver, etc.).
- Pay tuition and fees in full.
- Between January 9 and January 13, 2012, 4 p.m., make your registration changes: Free Drop/Add Period is 5 days.
- Make a minimum payment of $300 down toward
tuition and fees.
- Spring Financial Aid Applied to Account
January 17, 2012
- January 17, 2012, Financial Aid is applied to your spring bill. Complete your Direct Deposit in eServices under the Financial Aid tab by January 15, 2012. This will allow excess aid funds to be deposited into your checking or savings account by January 19, 2012. If you do not complete the Direct Deposit setup, an aid overage check will be mailed to your local address beginning January 19, 2012.
- Spring Tuition Due
February 13, 2012- For spring semester 2012, the payment-in-full date is February 13, 2012 (25 business days after the start of the semester). Full payment of all remaining charges are due unless the student has obtained an approved payment plan.
REMEMBER, BILLS ARE NOT MAILED! You can view, print or pay your bill on line at web.mnstate.edu, click on eservices, login and select Bills and Payment. Checks should be payable to MSUM and mailed to: MSUM Business Office, 1104 7th Ave S; Moorhead, MN 56563.
