The College of Arts and Humanities explores the richness of human experiences. We value teaching and learning from creative, critical, historical and multicultural perspectives. We pursue knowledge through reflective and active engagement with ideas. We cultivate ethical and civic responsibility in the individual and community.

State University Moorhead College of Arts and Humanities. We offer
academic programs and events for the community that showcase the thought and creativity of our students, faculty, and staff.
Our students learn by doing. They work to stage all aspects of our theatre shows, perform in a variety of musical ensembles, showcase their work through art exhibitions, or conduct faculty-mentored research. Last year, more than 38,000 people attended a campus performance or art exhibition by our students and faculty.
Our students learn from high quality faculty members who publish research and present creative works that receive strong reviews by their peers. Every year, our faculty create more opportunities to collaborate with students in work that is mutually rewarding.
Our students graduate and go on to fulfilling lives, both personally and professionally. They are prepared to write, think critically, and interact with diverse populations. This Web site is your gateway to the MSUM College of Arts and Humanities.
