It is All About the Students
Our goal this year is $155,000 for student scholarships and program support.
The Campus Campaign is our time to shine! Let's show everyone that support for MSUM begins at home - with faculty and staff.

The most valuable assets of our special place are the people who share our vision and live our mission.We are truly blessed by the quality of faculty and staff who prepare our students to be the leaders of the future.I feel very fortunate to be with you. We've had many discussions about how we can maintain our excellence in the midst of a very difficult economy.We've worked together to deal with an unprecedented state budget problem.We've collaborated to ensure our future, but we also need to talk about helping our financially-strapped students cope with their rising share of the cost.Not that many years ago the state was meeting its statutory responsibility to pay for two-thirds of the cost of instruction.Unfortunately, the "new normal" has flipped that outcome—in two years the ratio will be reversed, with students paying two-thirds of the cost. As a result, the Campus Campaign is more important than ever.It's our chance to help our students and our campus.It's also a way to demonstrate our caring environment.Please join me in supporting the Campus Campaign with your philanthropy. Together, we can lend a hand at a time of great need-- and lay the groundwork for tomorrow's leaders to help the students who follow them.

Thank you for your wonderful support of the Campus Campaign in previous years.It is such a wonderful way to support the success of our students as well as the commitment and dedication of faculty and staff.
With the Campus Campaign, your contributions will go to the areas you designate; one opportunity available this year only is for you to designate part of your contribution to the Wellness Center Fund. You contribution to the Wellness Center will double because of the Pledge to match by Ann and Russ Gerdin. It is an opportunity for you to personally make a big difference, and send a message of support to our students.
