Craig A. Ellingson

Craig Ellingson is the Chair & Director of Theatre and Theatre Dance at Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he teaches in the area of acting, directing, musical theatre, movement and dance.

His performance credits include Harold Hill in The Music Man, Charlie Brown in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown!, Albert in Bye, Bye Birdie, Che in Evita Rutledge in 1776 and Michael in I Do! I Do!.  In addition to performing, Craig's directing work has been seen regionally at MSUM, The Straw Hat Players, The Theatre of the Invisible Guests, Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre, Fargo-Moorhead Civic Opera and Detroit Lakes' Playhouse 412.

Craig holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre Performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a M.F.A. in Theatre Directing from Minnesota State University Mankato.

He is an active member of Association of Theatre in Higher Education, American Association of Theatre in Education and the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival.
