Student Eligibility

*Honors Program Eligibilty Requirements

In-Coming Freshmen: 

• 26 ACT or 1180 SAT (minimum score) AND
• Top 25% of HS Class Rank or 3.6 HS GPA
• Return Honors Invitation Reply Card by April 1

Current MSUM Students and Transfer Students:

• 3.6 Collegiate GPA
• Letter of Application received by April 1

*The University Honors Program Committee recognizes that excellence can be demonstrated in multiple ways.  Students who have not met these requirements but feel that they would be successful Honors students should email their application materials to  honors@mnstate.edu.  Students who have not yet been admitted to the University are welcome to apply for conditional acceptance to the University Honors Program (which does not imply or grant acceptance to MSUM).
