What is Moodle?
Moodle is a course management system designed to help
educators who want to create quality online courses or provide
students in a face-to-face course access to materials and
information online. Moodle is one of the two systems to choose
from at MSUM. It is
open-source software so its development is guided by a core
group of developers with input from a community of contributing
developers. Moodle
headquarters is located in Perth, Australia.
Some of the tools available in Moodle include:

Content Delivery:

Upload files including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF files.

Create web pages or text pages in Moodle’s internal editors

Include lessons created using SoftChalk

Embed content such as video, audio and widgets
