Configuration for iPhone/iPod touch
The Cisco VPN software part of the iPhone/iPod touch 2.0 Softare Update is required for Wireless connectivity at MSUM.
Requirements
In order to configure and use the Wireless services
provided by MSUM, you must:

Be on campus at MSUM.

Be a current Student, Faculty, or Staff member at MSUM.

Have a valid MSUM Email username and password.
- Be running the iPhone or iPod touch 2.0 software or later. Visit the Apple iTunes website for more details.
Setting up the VPN with the iPhone/iPod touch 2.0 Software
1. Tap Settings from the home screen.
2. Tap General.
3. Tap Network.
4. Tap VPN.
5. Turn the VPN ON.
6. Tap IPSec and enter the following information into the fields:

Description: MSUM Wireless

Server: 199.17.118.250
-
Account: enter your MSUM DragonMail Username
-
Password: enter your MSUM DragonMail Password
-
Use Certificate: No
-
Group Name: wireless
-
Secret: dragon-wireless
7. Tap the Save button.
8. Turn VPN ON.
If the VPN disconnects after the iPhone/iPod touch sleeps you may have to tap on Settings and set the VPN to ON again to sign back in.
