Math 102 – Introduction to Mathematics

Reflection Paper 1

Due: Friday, January 18^th

Give your thoughts and reflections on the following questions:

1. What comes to mind when you hear the word “mathematics”?
2. Why are you taking this class and what do you hope to get out of it?
3. What grade do you hope to get in this class and how do you plan to attain this grade?
4. What can I do to help make this class a good experience for you?

Your paper should be typed and should be 1-2 pages in length (double spaced with standard margins). Make sure to put a title block including your name, course number, section number, and “Reflection Paper 1” at the top of the page. Your paper must be turned in to me at the beginning of class on Friday.
