Primer for Tender Young Minds. New

Dr.
Stewart chose this book because:
“I chose the field of school psychology because I
enjoy working with kids and families and also enjoy being around other people
who dedicate themselves to kids and families.
In my line of work, we often are working with children who are difficult
to teach, enjoy ‘testing the limits’ or have had one barrier after another
stacked up against them. We can
learn a lot from these children. One
thing I have learned is that laughter truly is a blessing and a cure for the
frustration or hopelessness that can build up when working on seemingly
insurmountable barriers. This book
makes me laugh every time I open it. Kids
love it, too…..but be careful who you show it to!!”
