3. Copy the "Document URL" (image 2) and paste it into your course management software (e.g., moodle) or web page
5. Add the following EZProxy prefix to the front of that link (see example below)
EXAMPLE:
stable link to article-
http://proquest .umi .com/pqdweb ?did=1795475971 &sid=5 &Fmt=3 &clientId=44077 &RQT=309 &VName=PQD
To make this link accessible to off-campus students you should add the following EZ Proxy prefix to the link:
EZ Proxy link-
http://trmproxy.mnpals.net/login?url=
creating the URL:
http://trmproxy.mnpals.net/login?url=http://proquest .umi .com/pqdweb ?did=1795475971 &sid=5 &Fmt=3 &clientId=44077 &RQT=309 &VName=PQD
IMPORTANT: This new URL will prompt off-campus students to login to the University's proxy server, allowing them access to our paid resources. This new link should be tested prior to class. This testing should take place from an off-campus computer. If you have any problems with this process, please contact a librarian, and we will provide you with a proxied persistent link
