Newspaper Indexes and Microfilm Area The Library subscribes to the following newspaper indexes: New York Times - 1851- The Times (London) - 1906- The Forum (Fargo) - 1975-1995 Wall Street Journal - 1971-1998 We also carry a limited amount of newspapers, stored on microfilm. These can be retrieved from the microfilm cabinets. For each newspaper, the film reels are filed chronologically. Microfilm readers are also in this area. Please ask for assistance when loading film if you are unfamiliar with the machines. If you would like a printout of any pages, take your film to the Periodicals/Government Documents desk. Film will be printed, as time permits, for 10 cents a page.
