Charlette Moe joined the NDSU Music faculty in the fall of 2008. She serves as a coordinator for the Mastersof Music in Music Education degree and teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in music education. Dr. Moe is also the conductor of Cantemus, the NDSU women's choir. Dr. Moe received a Bachelor of Music degree in music education magna cum laude from Concordia College, a Master of Science degree in music education from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a Doctorate of Music in conducting from North Dakota State University. She also holds a Kodaly Institute Certificate from the University of St. Thomas. As a choral teacher and classroom music teacher for over 15 years in the Minnesota Public School System, Dr. Moe has had experience teaching all grade levels. She was nominated for Minnesota Teacher of the Year in 1999 and 2004. Dr. Moe’s past guest conducting engagements were at high school, elementary and middle-level choral festivals in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. She has presented at music conventions in North Dakota and Minnesota. Dr. Moe has served as a section-coach for the Minnesota All-State Choir, a judge for vocal solo and ensemble contests, a member of the planning committe for the 2008 ACDA North Central Convention and is a member of ACDA and OAKE. Presently, she is past-president for the Northern Plains Kodály Chapter and R&S chair for women's literature for NDACDA. Dr. Moe, her husband Gordon, and two boys live in Hawley, MN. |

Carole Richman holds a B.A. in music from Valley City State University, Valley City, North Dakota. She has a Kodály Mastery Certificate from Hamline University (program currently taught at St. Thomas) in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a Master’s Degree in Music Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She taught in the Fargo Public Schools for thirty years and retired the spring of 2009. In addition to her teaching, Mrs. Richman served as Elementary music coordinator for Fargo Public Schools for six years and served on curriculum writing teams for several years. She is presently teaching music methods at Minnesota State University Moorhead. She has been a member of the MENC, NDMEA, OAKE, NPKC and NEA and is a past president of NPKC, the local OAKE chapter. She performs with the Fargo-Moorhead Chamber Chorale. |

Nancy Weiser earned a B.A. in music from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and a Kodály Mastery Certification from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. She retired in 2008 after 28 years as elementary music specialist at Jefferson Elementary School in Fargo, North Dakota, and 13 years of band/choral experience in grades 1-12 in schools in North Dakota and Washington. She has been a member of the elementary music curriculum writing team for the Fargo Public Schools and participated in writing a school-wide discipline plan for Jefferson. Mrs. Weiser is a charter member of Northern Plains Kodály Chapter and has served on the board of directors as treasurer and member-at-large. She has served on planning committees for regional and national OAKE conferences and has presented workshops for NDMEA and NPKC. She has been active in the Fargo-Moorhead Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity serving as president, program chair, and secretary. In 2009 she joined the staff of the Red River Boys Choir as musicianship teacher. |
