Keyboard Studies at MSUM

The Music Department at Minnesota State University Moorhead offers a variety of courses in the area of Keyboard Studies. Applied Piano lessons are available at all levels (including graduate study). We offer Keyboard Study in Jazz, with performance opportunities in supervised commercial music ensembles. Students may also study organ with faculty specialists. Authentic instruments are available within the department for practice and performance. Other Keyboard Studies courses include Keyboard Pedagogy, a course that teaches students how to teach piano lessons, and Keyboard Literature, in which students are introduced to the vast repertoire of music composed for the piano. Students may also take Accompanying for credit. Please feel free to contact the Keyboard Studies faculty for further information.
