Working in the context of the Music Industry Program, digital audio has been incoporporated into almost every aspect of the MSU Moorhead Music Department. Our department boasts Pro Tools HD and LE stations as well as a full compliment of live audio production gear.

Within the program, students experience hands-on training with both analog and digital recording techniques. Students are taught all aspects of the Industry from microphone recording techniques to studio etiquette. Music Industry Majors are given the opportunity to record in various conditions from in-studio recording sessions to live-mobile recording as well as sound reinforcement situations.  Full length recording projects like Dragon Tracks and Dragon Studios Presents are completed by students each year.
