All bookstores, libraries, and wholesalers must order from The Consortium, our national distributor to purchase books. However, feel free to contact us if you need additional assistance or information.
For Teachers
Examination copies are available at a discount to teachers who wish to consider books for possible text adoption or supplemental reading. The discount offered is 50%. Orders must be placed on departmental letterhead, with the name of the book, the class for which it is being considered, and the expected dates of the class. Include payment with your order. Returns are not accepted for these orders.

New Rivers Press was
founded in 1968 by C. W. "Bill" Truesdale and has published more than
330 titles. In 2001, after Truesdale's death, Alan Davis and Wayne Gudmundson were instrumental in reviving and
relocating it to MSUM, where its dual mission is to publish literary work of every character, with an emphasis on new and emerging
writers, and to provide learning opportunities, including a Certificate in Publishing, for students in partnership
with MSUM. The press honors Truesdale's progressive spirit by publishing
work with a strong sense of place that speaks to our troubled times
with satyagraha (the truthforce), empathy, and aesthetic courage.
