Paralegal

Minnesota State University Moorhead’s Paralegal program is approved by the American Bar Association, one of only 74 bachelor’s degree offerings in the nation to hold that honor and one of only two public universities in Minnesota to earn that distinction. A four-year paralegal program is the degree of choice for most law firms.

A four-year Paralegal degree offers excellent preparation for law school as well as a paralegal career. Over its 25-year history, students have interned with more than 160 law firms in 12 states. Faculty members and guest lecturers are experienced attorneys and paralegals.

Amy Schutt“I was looking for a program that would prepare me for law school, but I wasn’t 100% certain about that path. MSUM’s paralegal major is a four-year program approved by the American Bar Association. If I decided that I didn’t want to pursue law school, I still had a four-year degree that would land me a career in the field I wanted.”
