The Minnesota State University Payroll Office is located on the first floor of Owens Hall, in suite 106. Business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
To compensate Minnesota State University Moorhead faculty, staff, and student employees accurately every two weeks in accordance with University policies, MnSCU policies, and Federal and State law and to prepare reports and remittances in a timely and accurate manner.
The primary function of the Payroll Office is to process bi-weekly earnings payments to all faculty, staff, and student employees. Other special services provided include: paycheck information, direct deposit, tax withholding records, classified leave records, overtime reporting and billing, accounting/labor distribution, retirement reporting, departmental payroll reports, coordinate and process student work study payments, and Federal and State reporting.
Employees may contact the Payroll Office with questions regarding their salary or paychecks, or to complete the various forms available from our office. Such forms include Federal and State W-4 forms, MW-R forms, and Direct Deposit forms.
