Strategic Planning and Budgeting University Reaccreditation 2007 MSU Moorhead |
April 14, 2009 Dear Students, As you may have noticed, the forecast for the second Red River crest has been revised downward. We continue daily meetings this week with the city’s Emergency Operations Center and are prepared in the event that the forecast worsens. Today, I am optimistic that we will be able to continue normal operations. Even with the rain predicted for later in the week, the river forecast is still hopeful. Yes, it will still rise and crest. As you recall, the University is situated well above the river level predictions. Thus, I am optimistic that we will not need to close our facilities for the second crest. If the situation changes, we will let you know in a timely fashion. I understand that the events of the last few weeks have left some students with challenges and questions. To assist you in finding answers to your questions more quickly, please consider the following points:
Please know how very much I appreciate all that you have done to support our University and community. You are awesome. Best wishes, President Edna
