Stubby (our satellite collared wolf) was named for his short tail. Stubby was fitted with a satellite collar in September, 1997. Transmissions of Stubby's travels were received by email 3 times a week for one year. The purpose of the study was to observe dispersal patterns of wolves in agricultural areas.
