This was the first year I took students to Africa. The trip was through the Office of International Programs at the University of Southern Mississippi and to Kenya for one month.
Highlights included the cities of Nairobi and Mombasa, as well as homestays in Meru District, a safari to Maasai Mara, and a visit to the 14th century coastal island town of Lamu.
