Clinics
Minnesota State University Moorhead has several types of clinics.
These include:
MSUM Speech/Language/Hearing Clinic is currently accepting referrals for Summer Clinic, which starts June 4, 2012.
- Clinic sessions will be held for seven weeks – from June 4 – July 19.
- Both children and adults are welcome.
- Appointments are available two, three, or four times/week
- Evaluation appointments are available.
- We serve clients who need help with:
- Articulation/phonology
- Apraxia
- Developmental or acquired language disorders
- Communication issues post-stroke
- Memory and cognitive issues related to dementia
- Communication issues related to Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Fluency
- Voice
- English as a second language
- Swallowing issues
- Assistive technology

On September 13-15, 2011, students and supervisors from the
SLHS Department conducted free hearing screenings at the Big Iron event at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo.
This year, SLHS students have conducted speech and language screenings and hearing screenings throughout the community.
