About Us

Who we are and what we did:

The Minnesota Teacher Research Network (TRN) is comprised of 12 higher education institutions in Minnesota that have developed a study protocol and a set of research instruments for a multi-institution, state-wide study of new elementary and secondary teachers of science and mathematics. The project has been funded by SciMathMN, ADC Foundation, and the Minnesota Department of Education.

An invitation:

Much effort has gone into collecting and organizing the data from over 70 teachers beginning in 1998. In 2005, the collaborative network decided to make our instruments and data available to other researchers outside the network.
