Try to address all the comments your professor has made on your paper. In particular, remember to tackle more than just the small changes your professor has marked throughout the text of your paper. Read the summary comment at the end of the paper to see if your professor has identified larger issues to be addressed. If you choose not to take one of your professor's suggestions, you might consider attaching a note that explains your reasoning. This way, your professor knows that you paid attention to the comment, even if you ultimately chose to take another approach.
