Labs 15%

Note:  For the lab grade, only the top 18 labs will be counted (out of approximately 23).  As for the exams, consider the five grades for Exam 1, Exam 2, Exam 3, Exam 4, and the average of the two quizzes.  If you do better on the final than the lowest of these five grades, I will replace that lowest grade with your final exam grade.  (Note that this would effectively mean that your final exam would be worth 29% of your course grade.)

C+ 78%-79%
C 71%-77%
C- 70%
D+ 68%-69%
D 61%-67%
D- 60%
F 59% and lower
