Course Schedule

Note:  In the event that class does not meet on an exam day due to instructor illness, winter storms, etc., the exam will be held the next day that class meets.

Note:  Scheduling the amount of time that each topic needs can change based on the order of the topics, the prior knowledge of the students (whether it is new or review material, for example), the textbook's explanation, etc.  It is particularly difficult when it is your first time teaching a course, as it is for me this term.  As such, I have built in five "Catch-up" days at the end of the semester.  Recognize that this planned schedule is meant to be a first draft, and will be adjusted as the semester progresses.  Don't be alarmed or surprised if we are behind what it says here.  I likely won't bother to update this, since exactly where we are will be clear from your time in class.  But this is a good guide for what comes next, especially if you had to miss class and need to read additional sections to catch up.

Note:  Test dates will not move.  If we get behind (or ahead) on this schedule, it will affect which topics are on the exam, not when the exam occurs.
