Exercise 3.10. Find the two line l[l₁, l₂, l₃] that represent the two coordinate axes.

The line on the x₁-axis must pass through the origin and (1, 0, 1). Hence, by Proposition 3.1, Evaluate the determinant to obtain –x₂ = 0 or Thus, the line is [0, 1, 0].

The line on the x₂-axis must pass through the origin and (0, 1, 1). Hence, by Proposition 3.1, Evaluate the determinant to obtain x₁ = 0 or Thus, the line is [1, 0, 0].
