problems, and successes. Be prepared at each university
supervisors observations to go over journal. Be prepared to
formulate possible solutions and alternative plans.

Read and request a
supervisory triad conference
when needed before the problem escalates.

Meet with my cooperating teacher
prior to the first day.

Write a letter introducing yourself
to the students and parents.

Acquaint myself with the
classroom procedure and discipline policy.

Establish a rapport with my
cooperating teacher and university supervisor.

Become orientated to the school,
staff, and community.

Assist the cooperating teacher in
making lesson plans throughout the experience.

Remain in constant contact with my
cooperating teacher through the use of email and other sources.
