Setting up remote access involves installing the VPN client and setting
up the remote version of SPSS.
Please note, you will need to sign in to the VPN client each time before you use
SPSS.

Install VPN Client:
To be able to download the remote version of SPSS, you will first need to
install the VPN client. VPN will allow you to sign on to the University network
from home as if you were on-campus. You will also need to login to the VPN
client first, every time before you run the remote version of SPSS. Each time
you sign onto VPN, you will remain signed into the University network for about
4 hours. After that time, the connection will disconnect and you will need to
sign into the VPN client again. Follow this link for directions on

Setup Remote SPSS:

Download the documentation for setting up remote access for SPSS, you may need
for reference:

Sign-in to the VPN client.

Access MSUM’s remote access applications:
https://remote.mnstate.edu/.

Find IBM SPSS Statistics in the list and download the application. Reference
documentation downloaded in Step a above if needed. Notes:
