Assignment 9: t-tests in SPSS

       **Be sure to bring your stats textbook to lab.**

Students will complete most of this assignment in lab. Students will use SPSS to calculate the t-statistic in two different situations--for one sample and for two independent samples. Use SPSS to conduct the appropriate t-test for the following questions.

Please include the following information on the printout for each t-test: 1) null hypothesis and the alternative hypothesis, 2) decision (retain Ho or reject Ho) and 3) a couple of sentences describing what you can conclude--be specific.

Please begin working on Assignment 10 as soon as possible. Assignment 10 requires you to calculate t-tests by hand. You WILL be required to conduct t-tests by hand for the exam so please do extra practice problems if necessary and ask questions. Thanks and good luck!
