Homework (End of Chapter Problems):
Register for the Smartwork Homework system first. All homework problems are assigned through the Smartwork system.
STUDENT SELF-REGISTRATION for Smartwork on-line homework/assignment system:
Create a SmartWork account and self-enroll into the class following the "First Time User" instructions are here. It requires the following, your msum.edu email address, the enrollment key for the course which is. CHEM46861 (case-sensitive). and the purchase of a registration code from the book publisher of Smartwork at the registration point..
Once registered you can access Smartwork system via my web page as well, Homework problems are assigned via
the Smartwork system. Assignments will not be accepted beyond the due date under normal circumstances .
Attendance: Skipping more than two classes (without a compelling and documented reason)
will result in losing 2 (out of 600) points per class missed, from the overall
total of 600 points of the course.
Examinations: No make-up tests will be given without prior permission
from the instructor except in highly unusual situations.
Grading: Grading will be based on the cumulative sum of test scores
and homework assignments; minus the points for absenteeism and
delays in handing in quizzes and assignments. Point values
for the different items are given below.
