Lecture Information: Applying Information Processing Theory
This portion of the Grand Round is centered on the aspect of processing style for your student. As you should have gleaned from that section course there are only two kinds of Processing styles that people fall into, Top/Down and Bottom/Up. In this assignment, you are to choose which of those styles your student finds easiest to do. What is it that they find "natural?" What is it that they value, the message or the detail? I will concede that virtually everyone can do learn to process both ways, but there is always one way that they find easier. Which is the most descriptive of your student? As always, when you answer that question, you also need to provide behavioral evidence.
