In this lesson, we discussed four different types of goals that students commonly have.  Some of them are productive and some of them are unproductive.  Also, depending on the subject area, the student could have very different goal orientations.  So your assignment for this lesson is a very specific one.  First of all, you must choose the subject area in which you are going to try and analyze your student.  Then you place them into the proper goal orientation, explaining the characteristics that are being displayed through the student's behavior.  It is possible as well with this theory to have multiple goal orientations going at once.  Please explain all that apply.
