This course is
designed to study the social science foundation of
education. It provides an overview of the theories
and principles from psychology that relate to
education. Specifically, the course addresses
motivation, learning, development, instruction,
culture, and management. Study of these theories
gives teachers a basic understanding of human nature
as it applies to education and should provide
insights into further education courses in content,
methodology and practice.
