Notas Latinas Radio Programs
Since 1989, Notas Latinas offers information on Latino life together with vintage/oldies and newly released musical selections. Notas Latinas offers historical and cultural information, views, news and lots of Latino music from the major genres: Pop Latino, Tropical, Tejano, and Mexican Regional.
Notas Latinas is presented in two formats. The "Music & Notes" productions offer lots of Latino music and very brief cultural and historical notes about the music, singer, genres or related events. It is an enjoyable way to learn and celebrate Latino culture and history in "small tasty bites."
The "Narratives & Music" programs provide views, news, demographics, trends, heritage, history, and cultural information of interest to Latinos and others interested in Latino culture. It is a view of Latino life in "larger bites, something to savor."
Produced by Abner Arauza, Notas Latinas is a project of Dr. Yolanda Lara Arauza, Associate Professor of American Multicultural Studies and History at Minnesota State University Moorhead - and the broadcasters listed elsewhere in this webpage.
