Student Teaching Information

Expectations

• Math Department Policy on Student Teaching Placement
• Application for Student Teaching by Oct. 1 for Spring and Feb. 15 for Fall placements.
• Fill out Student Teaching Information Sheet and get to Professor Harms BEFORE you start student teaching.
• Student Teaching Handbook
• Weekly summaries are to be emailed to Professor Harms harms@mnstate.edu
  • Your weekly summaries should be 2-3 paragraphs and include what you have been doing in the classroom and reflect on how it is going, list any concerns you have, identify if you had been gone at all for the week, and mention a highlight of the week

  Application for Graduation - Due at the start of your student teaching semester- no later than the 1st week of September or no later than the third week of January
