Below is the logo design for use with the 2007 Reaccreditation theme Our Time to Shine.  It was developed by the Steering Committee's Public Relations subgroup.

The phrase was chosen for its visual strength, its ear-pleasing rhyme, and for the capacity of the theme to be used in a variety of applications. The theme of "shining" will be carried over into the specific areas. For example, "Excellence in Service, Shining Through" or "Excellence in Teaching, Shining Through." The phrase "Help us Shine" will be used to solicit involvement from various groups both on and off campus.

Another element of the graphic are the words "Learning, Service, Citizenship" which pulls in three key elements from MSUM's abridged mission statement, We develop knowledge, talent, and skills for a lifetime of learning, service, and citizenship.

The graphic integrates the the theme, reaccreditation, and MSUM's mission into one striking graphic visual that will appear on all reaccreditation-related documents.
