Task	Who can do this?	Description
Literature review	Anyone	Using RefWorks, compile a list of 10 paper citations on hydrated proton conductors. If possible, obtain one paper, extract the data, and check the result using our analysis programs.
Data analysis	Anyone	Use NMR line analysis program. Determine * hydrogen NMR doublet fraction versus temperature * hydrogen NMR central line FWHM versus temperature * Create an Excel plot of the value versus 1000/T * Determine the activation energy
Build model NMR probe	Anyone	Using paper and cardboard build a model probe that: * fits in the NMR magnet
Construct PFG apparatus	Intermediate student	Follow the schematic diagram, assemble the PFG NMR unit
Take Pake doublet data	Intermediate student	Take NMR data that shows a Pake doublet in a common hydrate. Analyze it using analysis software.
Improve SNR	Advanced student	Investigate the poor SNR. Where is noise coming from?
