In this second year of our grant we focused on "the Long Nineteenth Century (1800-1914). Our teachers participated in seminars at Minnesota State University Moorhead, had a visit from the Gilder Lehrmann Institute, and visited both the Otter Tail County Historical Society, one of our partners, and the Clay County Historical Society for some hands on work with regional sources. Take a look below at some of the lesson plans they created based on their experiences this year. (Note that some of these plans contain images and may take a short amount of time to load, depending on your connection speed.)
