Four Year Curriculum Plans
Recommendation for those starting with a strong math background
Recommendation for those starting with a weaker math background
Strongly Recommended Externship Course : Observation hours plus
Students typically take the Dental Externship course run with Concordia College during the spring term of their sophomore year. In this course you shadow dentists and hear from dentists about the profession and the preparation required The course is listed as CHEM 469 Internship. You need to see me, Dr. Wise, (or Dr. Edvenson in Chemistry when I am on sabbatical), to get permission to register for this course. It is import for you to contact me and to talk about the spring internship course . I advise the students seeking an undergraduate degree in Biosciences while preparing for dental school.
Dexterity is important:
Those of you pre-dental students who are sophomores and juniors and planning your schedules should consider registering for the following course, Art 203 Intro/Sculpture/ You need to get permission from the instructor, C. Walla (CA 174). This is one of the courses that would be useful in developing and demonstrating dexterity.
