Lessons

Lessons can be taken in any order. Homework may be done in any order. Quizzes are sequential. All quizzes up to the midterm must be done by midterm week. All quizzes must be done before final exam.

Each lesson (except Lesson 3) has assigned chapters to read. It is recommended that you do the section exersizes and answer the end-of-chapter questions to confirm your understanding of the material.

Homework

Multiple options for the same material are presented in ways relevant to the area of study of most of the students. Each lesson contains three different versions of homework: Counseling and Student Affairs; Education Leadership; and Special Education. Each version uses separate samples of homework relevant to that area of study throughout the course.

Any student may may do the assignments from any area. You may run through this work an unlimited number of times. If you make errors, you will be referred to the appropriate area of the book for re-study.

Assessment

The final quiz for each lesson can be taken twice. The format will be very similar to the homework for each section, but guidence will not be provided. The test is scored automatically. You must have 100% accuracy.

You will have two options to take each quiz. If you fail to achieve 100% on a quiz, you will not able to advance to the next lesson. After failing on the second take, the instructor is notified and remedial action can be taken.

Midterm and Final exams are taken on campus. Refer to the syllabus for the dates allowed. Any student moving through the course at a faster pace may make an appointment to take the midterm and final exams early. Midterm and final exams will not be given after the posted dates.
